Sub-D 15-pin Connector

This is the new Caruso Sub-D 15 pin configuration

  • Drive Left +                     Pin 3
  • Drive Left –                      Pin 11
  • Drive Right +                  Pin 6
  • Drive Right  –                  Pin 13
  • Feedback Left +             Pin 1
  • Feedback Left –              Pin 9
  • Feedback Left Shield    Pin 2
  • Feedback Right +          Pin 8
  • Feedback Right –           Pin 15
  • Feedback Right Shield Pin 7
  • Heater +                         Pin 4
  • Heater –                          Pin 5

Please note that this is different from the SC99 wiring (allthough it is the same connector type).

it should look like this:

db15 cuttercable on the lathe side

and attach the RC NEtwork and a minimum protection. the fuse.

rc-impedance network 4.7 ohms in parallel with 2.2 uF cap and 500-630 mA fuse

and then go to a Neutrik Speakon 4Pin Connector. you can wire the RC-Network and Fuseholder (use 500mA or 630mA max) directly. But if you use the Speakon you are prepared for the Protection unit.
